Accuro Customer Support and Sales Discontinuation: Frequently Asked Questions

RIVANNA will discontinue sales of our handheld device, Accuro, on December 31, 2026. Since its launch, Accuro has supported neuraxial anesthesia for an estimated 500,000 patients. That legacy belongs to our valued customers. RIVANNA will continue to honor the terms of documented warranties and service plans for existing Accuro devices. 1. When will sales of Accuro systems end?

Sales of new Accuro systems will end on December 31, 2026.

2. What are the final dates for ordering and shipping an Accuro system?

RIVANNA will accept eligible Accuro system orders through December 1, 2026, and ship accepted orders by December 31, 2026. Orders remain subject to inventory availability, order acceptance, and applicable commercial terms.

3. Can Accuro consumables still be purchased?

RIVANNA will accept Accuro consumables orders through November 30, 2027, and ship accepted orders by December 31, 2027. Orders are subject to availability, shelf life, order acceptance, and applicable terms.

4. Will existing warranties and service plans still be honored?

Yes. RIVANNA will honor documented warranties and service plans for existing Accuro devices according to their written terms. Customers should have the device serial number and purchase or coverage information available when requesting support.

5. Can Accuro devices still be repaired?

RIVANNA no longer performs Accuro repairs. Eligible failures during an active warranty or service-plan period are handled under the applicable replacement terms and remain subject to evaluation.

6. What happens if an Accuro device fails outside active coverage?

RIVANNA does not provide repair or replacement support for devices outside active warranty or service-plan coverage. Please contact RIVANNA so we can confirm the device and coverage status and discuss any currently available options.

7. Do customers need to act now?

No immediate action is required. Customers who expect to place a final Accuro system or consumables order should review the approved ordering windows and contact RIVANNA with questions about availability or documented coverage.

8. Is Accuro 3S a replacement or upgrade for Accuro?

Accuro 3S is not offered as a direct replacement, upgrade, or trade-in for Accuro. However, current Accuro customers may be eligible for early-access benefits through our pre-commercial Trailblazer Program, which is limited to 25 sites. 9. What is Accuro 3S?

Accuro 3S is a distinct system and the first FDA-cleared device for real-time neuraxial guidance. It integrates automated landmark identification, epidural-depth measurement, and real-time in-plane needle tracking into a single-operator, point-of-care workflow.
